Our most commonly asked questions.....

What is Tiny Acorns?
An independent, family-owned music and sensory class for babies and toddlers, with friendly support for parents and carers too.

What classes do you offer?
Baby Squirrels is for newborns up to those first crawls. Musical Squirrels is for active crawlers to toddlers and their siblings.

What will we do in class?
Baby Squirrels has songs, gentle movement, lights, feathers, textures, bubbles, parachutes and plenty of cuddles. Musical Squirrels focuses on motor skills, colours, numbers, rhythm, focus, movement and bubbles.

Can babies and toddlers attend together?
Yes. Our mixed-age Musical Squirrels sessions welcome both, and activities adapt to different ages and stages. Carers stay with and support their own child throughout.

How long are the classes?
Around 40 minutes. Please arrive a few minutes early to settle your little one.

Can I arrive late?
Of course! If we’ve already started, just join right in.

What do I need to bring?
Nappies, wipes, a change of clothes and any comforter your child needs. For smaller babies, we recommend a blanket to lay them on.

Do you run parties?
Yes, we offer bespoke parties, including birthdays and christenings.

Do you do seasonal specials?
Yes, we frequently run seasonal classes, including Halloween, Christmas and soft play parties. Check the website for available places.

Booking and Payment

Do I need to book?
Yes, booking is required to guarantee your place. Reserve online through our booking page or call Laura on 07949 086259. Spaces are limited, so termly booking is recommended.

How do I book?
Choose your class on our booking site, then pay by bank transfer.

Is my place confirmed straight away?
No, your class is only confirmed once payment has been received.

How much does it cost?
Drop-in is £9.99 per class, or £8.99 for members. Termly booking is £8.75 per class, or £7.75 for members, multiplied by the weeks left in the term.

What is membership?
Add £10 to your payment for member discounts. It’s per family and for life, covering any children you have now or in the future.

What’s the difference between termly and drop-in?
Termly guarantees your place every week without rebooking. Drop-in is more flexible, but places aren’t guaranteed.

Do you offer free trials?
We don’t, because we’d rather keep our prices low for all our families than offer discounts to a few. If you’d like to see if we’re the right fit, you’re welcome to book a single drop-in class, and we’d love to meet you!

Can I purchase classes for someone else?
Yes! If you’re buying classes as a gift, we’ll happily make you a voucher to give. Just let us know.

Missed or Cancelled Classes

What if we can’t make a class?
Due to limited spaces, we can’t offer refunds or transfers for missed classes under any circumstances.

If I pay for the term, can I cancel my place?
You’re welcome to skip any week, but classes can’t be refunded or transferred.

What happens if the weather is unfavourable?
We’ll run classes wherever we can. If it’s very hot, we’ll do our best to keep the room cool, and if it snows, we’ll try our hardest to get there. If you choose not to attend, the class is forfeited.

What happens if Tiny Acorns cancels a class?
You’ll be offered an alternative. If the current term is full, this will most likely be a transfer to the next term.
